Exceptional stay! The hotel surpassed my expectations in every aspect. Impeccable service, stylish decor, and comfortable rooms. The attention to detail and friendly staff made my experience truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious and enjoyable stay.
They had the misfortune that I came from a 3* Fletcher hotel, which was better in every aspect.
I got accommodation on the 2nd floor. I think that was later built on the first and the whole thing was a light structure. The floors were instable, cracking. Every time someone walked in the hallway the whole floor heard it and felt the tremors. The central heating is cracking every time it's on. Even at 1 am. I woke up to the radiator crackling.
In the room there were a few bits that just poked my eyes.
-For example 3 power outlets on the same wall and not even 2 on the same height (on a drywall, which is easy to work with...) Not frustrating, but not nice to look at.
-Shower door not closing properly, so water flows out.
About the staff: They were borderline rude. I stayed for weeks so I met everyone. I found about 4 staff member who used "please". 2 of those were cleaning staff. I know as a guest I'm their work, but their job is make me feel I'm not. I felt like I'm a burden and they want me to leave as soon as possible. Compared to the previous 3* Fletcher where I felt like king this was a bit of shake up.
The breakfast was almost the same as the other hotel, but significantly smaller, so a lot of food ran out pretty quickly.
All-in-all I'm not really satisfied with my stay, I can only recommend this hotel to a one or two night stay, for transit. Or just don't get your expectations high and you won't be disappointed.
A delightful experience at De Korenbeurs. The restaurant served delicious meals, and the hotel provided a comfortable stay. The staff were really friendly and attentive, making our visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!!
Excellent stay! Friendly staff, clean rooms, great location. Outstanding service and amenities. Highly recommend for a comfortable, memorable visit
Disappointed with the experience. The staff could use better training in customer service.
Breakfast: We came down for breakfast at 9:10, and unfortunately, many items were empty, including basic items like honey. This was surprising and really disappointing. See photos for reference.
Room service: I had a delay in receiving a new duvet cover after calling reception. Communication was a bit frustrating as it took almost 3 hours for them to respond, and there was a language barrier issue with the person on the phone. To make matters worse, during the conversation, I felt mocked for the way I speak.
Additionally, when the duvet cover finally arrived, it was thrown aggressively at my girlfriend's face after a loud and abrupt knock on the door, which was quite unpleasant.
Reasonable hotel for a small town like Made. Within walking distance to the Main Street. There’s a good English bar on the corner.
Rooms are clean and fairly well kept up. Good breakfast buffet bar. Restaurant serves decent dinner but slow service.
The hotel is amazing they have good accomodation friendly environment and most specially very friendly staff .
Rooms are very small and the lighting is not good - difficult to read a book in bed.
The coffee machine is a major problem to use as the pods don't fit in the machine without major manipulation.
At breakfast, advise is to go early, as the hard-boiled eggs are "balanced" on a pile of salt - and get colder and colder as time passes. Also, there is no toaster for the bread.
